Chris Hawes – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Rock Island District (Federal)
I am a geospatial professional with 14 years of experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, providing GIS support for a wide range of water resource, ecosystem restoration, emergency response, and flood risk reduction civil works projects. I live and play in eastern IA and think that White Pine Hollow State Forest is the best public land in the state. I'm excited for the opportunity to continue my position on the IGIC Board as the lone federal representative. My objective is to serve as a resource for others as it relates to USACE projects and emergency response activities within the state of IA.
